Haylee's Blessing Day

Jeremiah was able to give Haylee her blessing on Sunday August 2nd. It was a wonderful day and we are so grateful to everyone that came and supported us! We have the best family ever! Our little Haylee was such an angel for her blessing and she was so beautiful in her amazing dress! Her Great-Grandma Burnside is an amazing seamstress to have made such a beautiful dress for her!
We are so blessed to have two beautiful children who are the greatest and whom we love so very much! We couldn't ask for more!

Haylee May, Born June 8, 2009

Introducing the newest member of our family!!
Haylee May was born at 3:07 pm on June 8. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21in long.
Here she is sleeping peacefully in her hospital crib.

Here's our little family all together. We are so blessed to have the best family and friends to support us! We had lots of visitors in the hospital and when we got home and we are grateful for all their love and support!! We love you all!!

Big Brother Sammy
We were really worried how Sam would react to this whole thing. His wonderful Aunt Missy watched him while we had the baby, then she brought him to the hospital. He wasn't sure how to handle momma looking the way she did, but he really wanted to hold the baby!! He loves to show everyone all her body parts. They both have noses, fingers, toes, eyes, etc. He has been just wonderful!! We couldn't ask for more!

Haylee, just after she was born.

Here's her very first Bath.

Here she is, ready to come home. What a beauty!

Kisses from brother, two days old. He really loves her!!

We are just so fortunate and very blessed. All went better than wonderfully! I went into Labor on the day I was to be induced, so it was really convenient to get right into a room. We went in at 9:30am. They didn't stary petocin until 4 hours later because I needed antibiotics. Once they started Petocin, at around 2:00, it all went really fast!! Three pushed and here she came!

The Lord has truely watched over our little family in so many ways! I have a strong testimony that he is always there when you need him. Thanks again to all our family and friends for your support!! Love you all!

Where little boys sleep when it raining outside.

When we would not let him go out and push his mower in the rain. He did the next best thing. Laying down by the sliding glass door was as close as he was gong to get to the outdoors. Crazy where kids can fall asleep!

Easter and Conference

We've had so much fun these past few weeks. We got to listen to general conference, which is always a blessing, and then we got to party with the easter bunny the very next weekend! Our sweet little Sammy was so good to cooperate and "watch" (or let us watch) conference that we tried to play hard between sessions. These are just a few of the things we did to pass the time and enjoy eachother...

Jeremiah is busy teaching valuable lessons to our son! He'd better love climbing!

He has also been really excited to play the drums for us. He goes upstairs and calls our names until we both come up to watch him. You can all appreciate it too! Here's a sneek peek...

Our little drummer boy!

Easter was really great! We got to celebrate all weekend with all the family! We started the fun on Friday with my family. Grandma stuffed TONS of eggs and hid them in the back yard. We ate dinner and then let the kids loose. My niece and nephew got the brint of the goods because Sammy thought it was more fun to just be outside, running around. He didn't care to pick up the eggs, but he thought it was fun to throw them like balls. Not until he got inside and started opening them did he realize what this was about. He made out really well with his favorite cookies!

Gather eggs, or climb...CLIMB!

Or maybe a run...

There's stuff in these... (cookies)

It's even more fun to share!!

The next adventure was with Jeremiah's family on Saturday. We colored eggs, had a hunt (in the livng room because of the rain) and then all the kids got lots of treasures from grandma! They are so spoiled!!

Painting is great!

And Coloring...

Just let me get my oreo's, then I'll come look for eggs...

Are there cookies in here???

I got all this fun stuff, but where's more cookies... Grandma really spoiled him and he loves everything!

Easter morning was really fun too!! We put the easter basket out on the coffee table the night before. When Sammy woke up on easter morning, he seemed to remember that the easter bunny was going to come fill the basket with stuff. He was really anxious to get us up and go see. He was right! The easter bunny spoiled him too!! He even hid eggs for Sammy to find.

Can we do the puzzle...

This stuff is great!!

Here's an egg! Lets find more!!

After a wonderful day at church, we got to have an easter dinner at grandma's house to top it all off. All the children were dressed up so nice. We are so blessed to have this easter season to celebrate our Savior and the atonement for all of our sins. The Savior has blessed us with the gospel to show us the way to return to Him. I am grateful for the example he set for us to follow. We are also so very blessed with family to help us on the path back to our Heavenly Father and we love to spend time with all of them! We Love you all and wish you all a happy spring!

2 Years Old!

It's been a fun few months! We have been busy with work and working on the playing. Our latest adventure was Sammy's 2nd birthday! The Sunday before his birthday, we partied with my side of the family. Then on his birthday I took him to the Jordan river parkway to feed the ducks again this year. He took Grandma's mower with him this time. Later that day we partied like never before. Everyone was just wonderful to our little man and he had so much fun! He has been playing hard with all of his new things and loves them.

(I made two mater cakes. The first was a demented mater and the next one turned out great! What do you do...)

Our little girl is developing well and we are excited to be getting closer to meeting her! She has been constantly measuring a week earlier than her due date of June 12. We hope she comes soon too! (But not too soon).

Here are some pictures of Sammy's party and some other fun things.

The Bike Grandma gave him!!

Cars was the theme...

Thanks for the fun book Grandma!!

Christmas and Snowshoeing in Millcreek Canyon

So it's been a while since we last posted! I think it's going to be one of my new years resolutions to update the blog once a month or so. I hope I can keep up with that. This Christmas was wonderful! We received so many wonderful gifts, but we still believe the best gift is to have family so close to celebrate and spend time with. Here are some pictures of all the fun we had this Christmas...

On New Years Day we woke up and went snowshoeing. This was the first time Sammy had been out to play in the snow. We were excited and anxious to see how he would do and he did GREAT!! He was smiling the entire time! We finally got some use out of our baby carrier pack. We were surprised he even wanted to ride, but he smiled every moment! He kept pointing to trees and saying "What's that" and showing us all the scenery. It's really fun to see the same old thing through new eyes.

When we got to the top, we stopped for a little snowball fight! Sammy joined right in! His uncle Colby handed him snowballs and he threw them as far as he could.

Back at the bottom of the trail, we stopped for a little bit of sledding. This was Sammy's favorite part!! He giggled the whole way down!! We all couldn't stop smiling! We hope the rest of the year continues just like today!!
